McComb has a full range of recreational opportunities available year round. Ten city parks provide softball and soccer fields, three splash pads and seven tennis courts. The largest, Edgewood park in north McComb, contains a playground set, pavilions, picnic tables and BBQ pits. It is bordered by several baseball and softball fields used by local leagues. The local hospital, Southwest Regional Medical Center, has a lighted walking track that is very popular with residents of McComb.

Bowling enthusiasts will enjoy the McComb Bowling Center located in Pike Center Mart. It boasts 16 pro lanes, a pro shop, billiard room and game room.

Shoppers will find an excellent variety of goods at Edgewood Mall on Veteran's Blvd., anchored by Sears, McRaes and JC Penney's department stores plus numerous specialty shops including Kirkland's, Shoe Dept., Electronics Boutique and Bath and Body Works. Super Walmart is located next door to the mall and Lowe's has added a huge store across the boulevard.

The Bogue Chitto river, twelve miles east of McComb, is a great place for outdoorsmen to enjoy canoeing or floating on inner tubes through some of the state's most scenic landscapes. The Bogue Chitto Water Park has 81 campsites with water & electricity, primitive campsites, picnic tables, 6 cabins, pavilion, playgrounds and a basketball court. Ryals Rentals has over 1000 tubes and 77 canoes for rent. They offer canoeing or tubing trips lasting from 2 to 7 hours.

Percy Quin State Park, five miles southwest of McComb, is one of the state’s finest. It offers great outdoor excitement for the camper, hiker, fisherman, or golfer. The seventeen hundred acre park features an attractive lake for fishing and boating, campsites, RV hook-ups, cabins, a lodge, playground, boat rentals and swimming pool. The park also boasts of beautiful Quail Hollow Golf Course , one of the state’s newest golf complexes. It is 6,700 yards of championship golf with a unique 18-hole public golf course and a 9-hole short course.

Pike County Speedway, located seven miles south of McComb, is a 3/8 mile high banked oval track which is one of the most popular in the mid-South. The Speedway is host to many special auto racing events, including dirt drags, Hav-a-Tampa and World of Outlaws events, from March through October.

Fernwood Country Club Facility includes: country club house, restaurant, bar, dining/ball rooms, 3 pools, tennis, tennis pro, 18 hole course. Golf lessons available.

Oakridge Driving Range Facility includes: 9-hole par 3 golf course daylight to dusk, lighted driving range, instruction available from an LPGA professional.

Lakeview Golf Club A private club that welcomes visitors. 9-hole challenging course. Robb Street Extension, just west of Summit.
